The NZHF approached Kiwa Productions to find a solution to the speed at which tournament results were reaching the media and the NZHF Website following a national tournament.

Previously, results from tournaments were sent to our office the next day and then forwarded to our web administrator to be entered manually onto our website. This caused a considerable time delay before the public and media could access the results.

Thanks to TournamentMaker™ we have been able to accelerate this process so that results are on-line the minute the match is over.

Kiwa Productions designed and integrated TournamentMaker™ onto our website for the start of our tournament season in May 2002. For our Under 21 Men & Women's tournaments we were, for the first time, able to use local administrators to enter results on-line as soon as matches were completed. The feedback from these local administrators has been very positive and all have agreed that TournamentMaker™ is easy to use.

Since the Under 21 tournament, TournamentMaker™ has dealt with tournaments consisting of 24 teams, 6 pools, including pool playoffs. It has updated and managed 5 tournaments running simultaneously around the country.

Our staff can now produce Tournament draws on-line and make any immediate changes where necessary.

We cannot praise TournamentMaker™ highly enough. It has assisted in obtaining valuable media coverage and enhanced our reputation with the media and public alike. TournamentMaker™ will continue to be a valuable tool for New Zealand Hockey.
